The advanced Osteothai Training
This series of 3 courses are for Osteothai practitioners wanting to refine and deepen their quality of touch.
With the three proposed workshops, you learn how to develop a practical treatment
strategy to meet your patients/receivers needs so that their capacity of autoregulation is improved, and that their health can manifest naturally. This workshop series is a collaboration between Thierry Bienfaisant and Jörg Schürpf, in order to bring the students the maximum benefits in their learning and training experience to become a professional bodyworker.

Jörg Schürpf
Jörg is a Swiss shiatsu practitioner and osteopath with a passion for touch, a powerful and poetic nonverbal language. He is the creator of Shen Shiatsu and Shen Master Training, which is a synthesis of the Eastern approach to shiatsu and traditional osteopathy. A nomad at heart, he has traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and North America to train in various touch and martial arts. Through his school, Shen Touch Academy, he teaches numerous courses each year in Switzerland, Europe, and Thailand.
Jörg has been teaching Osteothai with David Lutt since 2015 and from 2026 with Anathai School, Thierry Bienfaisant.

Course 1: 05 – 08 Mars 2026
The, spine, the central Nervous System and the central Chain
During this workshop, we will apply the principles and concepts of Osteothai to engage in a dialogue with key vertebrae and corresponding spinal levels, in resonance with the elements of the central chain. we will explore how to boost the body’s inherent potential to organize itself around the central chain.
The central chain can be seen as our tree of life, a continuous succession of fulcrums that allow a reciprocal balance between the viscero-somatic and somato-visceral relationships.
It represents a potential for organization and self-regulation, providing a central axis through which the body can maintain and restore balance on multiple levels: tissue(fascia), fluidic et energetic.
The central channel has its origins in embryological development, forming the structures that will become the vertebral bodies, intervertebral discs, and spinal cord.
Each spinal segment maintains a specific relationship with particular visceral structures, mediated by the afferent and efferent autonomic pathways.

Course 2: 07 – 10 May 2026
The cardio-vascular system in conjunction of the biodynamic practice
The rule of the artery is supreme
During this workshop you learn to master the biodynamic practice principles and how to apply them to the cardio-vascular system. You learn to perceive and how to interact with the fluid body tapping directly into the embryonic intelligence. We practice how to work with the arterial vascular tree and how to integrate the cardio-vascular system into all the other treatment modalities we work with. We dive deeper into the heart, fulcrum of all fulcrums, integrating the principles of biodynamic skills applied to the cardio-vascular system. We also work with the polyvagal reality in order to recognize how to efficiently work with shock and trauma during a session and which tools we can use so that the receiver can naturally reconnect to the ventral vagal complex.

Course 3: 26 – 30 August 2026
The energy system in relation to treatment strategy and the capacity of autoregulation
The three realities of the body: physical, fluid and energy body.
One of the major keys to improve autoregulation is to be able to recognize and to treat the different and inherent needs of the physical body, the fluid body and the energy body.
During this third workshop we present how to apply the different tools and principles of Osteothai in relation to three bodies and how we can therefore enhance and optimize the bodies capacity of autoregulation. We develop a multidimensional approach through the mobility and vitality of the fascia, the potency and vitality of the fluids united with/in the breath of life. The pieces of the puzzle fall into place as if by magic and the sessions start unraveling in a different vibration than at the beginning of the journey
